About April

Born in the Bay Area of California at the age of 12 April knew she wanted to become a Singer/Songwriter and performer. The obstacle was nobody in her family could sing, play an instrument or knew anything about the Music Industry. But that did not stop April as she followed her dream and passion and soon became one of the most sought after live performers on the west coast.

Her recognition for Songwriting started getting the attention of major Entertainment Promoters, Concert Agents, and Fairs and soon she was on her way to opening for over 40 Major Country Music Legends while performing her own written music throughout the US. But she didn’t stop there, April knew that she had a “ Shelf Life” in the music industry so decided to be smart and have multiple streams of income so when she did get off the road, she and her family would not struggle financially like she had seen so many other major artists do in the music business.

As a Serial Entrepreneur, April Consulo knows what it takes to sacrifice time away from your family and friends to build many successful businesses in many genres. This is why she founded W.O.M.E.N. (Word of Mouth Entrepreneurial Networkers) as well as Coaching Programs under her company Own Your Destiny and Permission to Live.
