A short message from Nashville President, Sue Apple:
Chapter Ambassador – Jen Hardy
Hi I’m Jen Hardy and I’m the author of the book, “The Sick Mom’s Guide to Having Fun Again: If I can do it, you can too!” I have multiple chronic illnesses, and a few years ago, during one of my week long stays in the hospital, I was searching for positive ways to take care of my home and my children while ill. I realized there wasn’t really anything out there so I did decided to create it myself. That’s when my blog, chronicallypositivemom.com was born.
I’ve started a worldwide support group, with members from four continents, to bring women dealing with chronic health issues together to discuss, support, and encourage each other. The difficulties that we go through are similar in every country, and it is wonderful to know there are people all over the world who understand.
It’s been amazing to have virtual speaking opportunities with women across the country about the importance of a positive attitude, and that no matter what we are going through that can make all the difference in the world.
I look forward to building relationships, encouraging the members of W.O.M.E.N, and helping you anyway I can.
